Alrighty so commmissions are currently closed until Further Notice. And when I reopen things might be a little different, how different is yet to be seen

Normally would make this a status update but decided to say fuck it and go for a full journal.

Anyway first order of business, I have art scheduled for posting tomorrow and the day after. It's not a lot of art compared to my previous batches, only 8 pics per day, but thought it's been too long since my last posts. It's mostly shipping art, a lot of RWBY, but there is some VS comms from twitter in there

Now the main piece of business is that I finally added some new gallery folders. Firstly, I made a folder for my Happy Trigger art. It's mainly the more recent stuff so there is some much older art of the characters that aren't in the folder. And the much bigger folder is the VS Art Folder. Once again it's not ALL of my VS art, as after a certain point the art was too old for me to really want it being shown off often. And the ordering is vaguely from oldest to newest, but once more pics are added to the folder it'll be newest, than randomly switch into oldest to newest.

I also made several sub folders (gotta make use of this gifted Core Membership right?), I made folders for every VS show that I've drawn art for, whether they be commissioned or fanart.

And than I made two more folders, one specifically for Commissions, and one for VS art that I drew of my own choice whether it be because I liked matchup I heard of, or it was an idea I came up with, etc. I wanna note that if it's not in the Death Battle folder than the art was drawn completely divorced from the idea of a Death Battle being made of it, cause generally I don't make VS art thinking "Wow I hope Death Battle does this" outside of some specific circumstances.

As a last note if you notice there's a vs pic that Death Battle has done and it isn't in the DB Folder, that means the art was a commission or something I made on my own time BEFORE Death Battle did it, and thus I'm not including it since that wasn't the intention behind it.

So uh, been awhile. But I'm gonna be trying to come back to Deviantart, mainly because Twitter has like a 50/50 shot of tanking entirely. That combined with some other mental health issues when it comes to my art just sorta left me abandoning this place. However as you may have noticed I've discovered Postybirb and have gotten it working properly (I did briefly try to use it awhile back but it had some weird glitches to it), and hopefully I won't be disappearing again. I'm gonna be trying to post most of my backlog from twitter along with any new art I create. I've also been working in the background trying to start my own comic, called Happy Trigger, I'm gonna post art of my OC's for that as well. When the day comes that I finally get that going I plan on making a website specifically for it, I hope you look forward to it. My commissions are still open, you can dm me here on DA or on my Twitter, though I'll note that I may respond faster on twitter. It's gonna be a hot second before I'm used to actually using Deviantart again. So I bought two Daruma Dolls and they came in the mail. My limited understanding of them is that you paint in one eye, make a wish, and than work hard every day to make that wish come true before painting the other eye. So I have two wishes that I want to make come true.

The first of those wishes was to make my comic, Happy Trigger, a reality. And as such I'm going to work hard to prepare and actually start the comic rather than make continuous self depreciating jokes about how I'm not gonna start the comic. But don't worry, comms will still be done amidst this, and in fact I plan on opening in one or two days. The second wish, and this is arguably the bigger one. Is that I want to make a full transition from male, to female. It'll take a long time, and it'll be tough given the current state of everything. But I've been thinking about this since last Christmas and I truly desire this, because I think it'll make me a much happier person in general. I've also for a long time had my new name in mind. So no longer is it "Carbonated-James," it's now, Carbonated-Jem.
